TARGET AUDIENCE & PURPOSE
This Intermediate Access Course is for people who can already create simple databases, and want a Forms-driven database with basic automation.
OBJECTIVES
By the end of this course participants should be able to:
- Export data from Access to other applications
- Set table field properties
- Design advanced queries and action queries
- Use charts in Access
- Create subforms and subreports
- Use hyperlinks in Access
- Create and use a switchboard
PREREQUISITES
Participants should be competent users of Access and should already be able to:
- Create a database
- Define the fields and properties for a table
- Create simple calculation and select queries
- Link tables using queries
- Create table relationships
- Create forms and modify the appearance of forms
- Perform calculations in forms
- Create and modify reports
